    About Me I'm about 5'4", dark hair, dark eyes, pudgy (but losing weight!). I'm a little shy at first, and mildly sarcastic, but I have a good sense of humor and am fairly intelligent. I live on a farm near Pittsville, WI with my sister, 16 equines (5 Arabian mares, 2 Arab geldings, 2 Arab stallions, 1 weanling Arab colt, 1 pinto Pintabian, 4 grade Quarter/stock horse fillies, and a pony sized hinny), 3 dogs, indoor and outdoor cats, and a chicken. I like knitting, beadwork, gardening, road tripping, chatting with old friends, going to Renaissance Faires, SCA events, horse shows, attending Sci-Fi and Fantasy conventions (when I can), and taking pictures wherever I go. 'Cause that's what I do *S*
    Music I like a lot of different types of music... Favorites: Train, Matchbox 20, The Mamas and the Papas, Def Leppard, The Eagles, Meatloaf, The Who, 10,000 Maniacs, Brother, Wolfstone, Remy Zero...
    Movies I like a variety of genres... mostly comedy but I also like action, fantasy and historicals. My sister has a HUGE DVD collection, so I have a lot to choose from (though I miss going out to the movies. It's too expensive to see a crappy movie in the theater these days, unless someone else is paying *nudge nudge wink wink*). I'm a BIG fan of Kevin Smith and Joss Wheden. Flicks that I can watch over and over: Mallrats, Dogma, Empire Records, Get Over It, She's All That, The Princess Bride, The Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, The Replacements, Spice World, Center Stage, Oceans Eleven, Love Actually, Reefer Madness: The Musical (coolest musical EVER!) Serenity of course...
    TV Buffy, Angel, Firefly (Damn Fox execs!), Grey's Anatomy, CSI (Vegas and NY), Bones, Criminal Minds, House, Numbers, The Muppet Show (collecting the seasons on DVD), HGTV, Food Network, Cartoon Network (Adult Swim mostly), Boomerang, some specials on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, History Channel, horse related programing on RFD-TV, and those damn VH-1 clip shows... I've canceled most of my satellite package for the summer, as I don't have a lot of time to watch and I don't have DVR. I wish, though, that I could just buy the channels that I actually watch.
    Books Favorite Genres: Non Fiction: for books mostly animal health and psychology, photography and Photoshop how-tos, and gardening manuals, for magazines horse related, photography, Photoshop, alternative energy and building, and farming. Fiction genres: Fantasy, some Sci-Fi, Historical Romance (cheesy for the most part, but quick, easy reads. And girl can dream, can't she?), Young adult fantasy, Folk and Fairy tales from different cultures, especially the uncensored Grimm Brothers and Arabic and Indian tales. I'm currently contemplating putting together a coffee table book based on such stories Favorite Authors: Robert Heinlein, Mercedes Lackey, Melanie Rawn, Jacqueline Carey, Kate Elliot, Tamora Pierce, Susan Cooper, Piers Anthony... Favorite Books: To Sail Beyond the Sunset, Friday, Stranger in a Strange Land, Time Enough for Love, The Dark is Rising series, The Golden Key, Kushiel's Dart and it's sequels, everything by Tamora Pierce, Jaran by Kate Elliot, The Lightbearer by Donna Gillespie, A Swiftly Tilting Planet and Many Waters by Madeline L'Engle, Strangers in Paradise graphic novels and many more, too numerous to mention. And surprisingly, The Happy Hooker is a rather interesting, borderline fascinating, read.
    Likes Male, taller, dark hair, blue and/or green eyes, great sense of humor, cuddly... *S* Horses, cats, dogs, ferrets, ducks, sheep, goats...
    Dislikes Mess, though I seem to live in a constant state of chaos.
